Pay Period Calendar 2024 Ca State. State officers and employees will be paid on the basis of 12, nearly equal, pay periods each year. They start on the thursday after a payday, and end on the wednesday 2 weeks later (on the payday).

Scheduled benefit payment dates are listed in the tables below. The payday for a specific pay period is 2 weeks after the end of that pay.
